About Me

Hello! I'm Mamilla Rishikesh Reddy, a passionate computer science student and aspiring developer. I enjoy working with Java, Python, Node.js, and MySQL. My interests include AI, Machine Learning, and App Development. I love solving problems and building useful applications.

Projects

Here are some of the projects I worked on:

Netflix Recommendation System – Innovative Students Hackathon
• Team Lead | Hyderabad, India | Dec 2023 – Feb 2024
• Led a 3-member team to develop a content-based recommendation system for Netflix.
• Used Python, web scraping for handling large-scale datasets.
• Reached final round among 100+ teams by proposing an efficient data organization model.

Smart Price Alert System
• Designed an automated price monitoring tool for e-commerce websites using Python and APIs.
• Implemented data collection, alert triggering, and visualization of price trends.

Smart Screen Voice — Accessible Screen Summarizer & TTS for Blind Users
• Designed and implemented an end-to-end pipeline that captures screen content, performs OCR, and preprocesses text for downstream NLP tasks.
• Integrated real-time TTS (text-to-speech) to vocalize summaries and navigational cues with low latency for seamless interaction.
• We are still working on this project as this this project course ends in December 2025. We use transformers for the analysing and processing.

Hobbies

Outside of academics, I enjoy a balance of sports and entertainment. I’m passionate about watching cricket, following exciting matches and supporting my favorite teams. I also love watching movies, as they inspire creativity and storytelling. Staying active is important to me — I regularly play badminton, which sharpens my reflexes and teamwork, and I dedicate time to the gym to build strength and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
